The Career Fair aims to provide a neutral, informal platform for engagement for young professionals to have an open dialogue in a speed dating format, with representatives of various companies in the water sector. Employers will be seated, with young professionals having only two minutes to engage with each other before moving to the next employer signaled by a bell. Employers will be provided with a set of questions to guide the two minute dialogue. ‘Speed dating’ will take place in two rounds, with an intermission in between and closing remarks.
2017 Panel Discussion on skills, leadership and progression in the water sector
The focus of the panel discussion in 2017 was to unpack skills, leadership and progression as observed by different representatives in the water sector comprising; public and private sector, global and civil societies and knowledge institutions. The outcome of this discussion will be to demonstrate the diversity in understanding Career Development and that to progress, depends on one’s own individuality and determination.
